Around you are manicured gardens, birdsong and views across the surrounding bush and, from some villas, out towards the hills. Inside, extra-length king beds and spacious bathrooms are designed for lingering.

Whether you are floating in your pool or sitting on the deck looking across the Sabie Valley, the appeal is much the same: the space is entirely your own.

The bedroom

Canopy bed, dark teak

An extra-length king-size canopy bed dressed in crisp white linen and mosquito netting, with dark timber furnishings adding warmth and depth. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan keep the room comfortable in every season.

A large flat-screen television with full DStv, and a laptop-size safe for anything you would rather leave securely behind.

Stocked with luxurious amenities and bath crystals, the bathroom is made for slowing down and unwinding after a day spent exploring the Lowveld.

A spacious lounge with a flat-screen television and satellite channels, plus a fireplace for cooler evenings. The kind of room made for a glass of wine, a quiet night in, and nowhere else to be.
